Nature of work:
- You will prepare various types of procedural documents and represent the University in legal proceedings;
- You will prepare, coordinate and analyze contracts and other legal documents concluded by the University;
- You will ensure that all coordinated documents comply with the requirements of applicable legal acts;
- You will consult the University community on various legal issues, including, but not limited to, property management, labor law, contract law and other issues;
- You will represent the University in various institutions;
- You will contribute to the preparation and improvement of the University's internal legal acts;
- You will contribute to the legal resolution of issues related to national and international projects (scientific, artistic, EU funds, etc.);
- You will perform other legal functions and contribute to the activities of the Legal Department as needed.
Requirements:
- Higher university legal education (Bachelor's and Master's degrees in law or integrated law studies);
- At least 1-2 years of legal work experience (can be acquired during or after studies);
- Interest in or experience in the field of intellectual property, property management, labor law, contract law, personal data protection, legal acts regulating educational activities - an advantage;
- Good knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania (especially in the fields of civil, labor, administrative law; in the field of education - an advantage);
- Excellent Lithuanian language skills and English language proficiency at least B2 level;
- Ability to prepare legal documents and analyze information;
- Ability to independently plan work and effectively manage time;
- Good computer skills (MS Office, etc.);
- Responsibility, diligence and the ability to clearly express thoughts in writing and orally.
