Nature of work
- Prepare, analyze and negotiate commercial contracts in Lithuanian and English;
- Evaluate standard contract forms (proformas) submitted by clients and submit proposals for their amendment;
- Ensure the protection of the company's interests during negotiations;
- Prepare, coordinate and administer:
– subcontracting agreements;
– confidentiality agreements (NDA);
– non-compete and non-solicitation agreements;
– cooperation agreements.
- Advise the company's management on legal risks when implementing projects in various jurisdictions;
- Cooperate with external law firms in different countries;
- Represent the company's interests in pre-trial disputes, arbitration and courts or coordinate such representation together with local legal partners;
- Manage claims and actively participate in resolving contractual disputes.
Employee requirements
- Higher university law degree;
- At least 5 years of work experience in the field of commercial law;
- Excellent knowledge of English (C1–C2), including Legal English;
- Ability to independently prepare, analyze and negotiate complex international commercial contracts;
- Experience working with international projects and legal issues of different jurisdictions;
- Ability to independently make decisions, manage priorities and communicate effectively with business partners.
Advantages
