Nature of work:
- Ensure an effective and high-quality legislative process (prepare draft documents (including regulatory), submit conclusions/proposals on draft legal acts)
- Prepare, coordinate draft documents of contracts, powers of attorney, letters sent, etc.
- Ensure compliance with legality in the activities of the company/department
- Provide legal advice to the company's employees within the scope of competence
- Represent the company's interests in courts within the scope of competence, including cases of bankruptcy and property division of individuals, cases regarding the assessment and recovery of local tax debts
We hope you:
- You have acquired education in the field of social sciences, law (bachelor's and master's or integrated master's degree)
- You have at least 3 years of legal work experience
- You are familiar with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating local government, public administration, corporate management, legislation, document management, the Civil Code, the Civil Procedure Code, the Law on Administrative Procedure, the Law on Waste Management and you know how to apply them in your work
- You have a good command of the state (Lithuanian) language, you express your thoughts fluently in writing and orally
- You are able to manage, systematize, analyze and summarize information, identify problems and provide solutions to them
- You work well with the MS Office computer program package and with information systems that are necessary for the performance of the functions assigned to this position (document management system, EPP, enforcement case portal and etc.)
Experience in public procurement procedures would be an advantage
