We are looking for a motivated Lawyer to join our Commercial Law team. In this position, you will provide legal advice to the Sales, Procurement, Finance and Business Development teams in various countries and jurisdictions, focusing on commercial law, as well as help ensure compliance and promote business growth.

What will your working day look like?
- Prepare, review and coordinate commercial contracts and related legal documents, identify potential risks and advise on their impact on the business.
- Provide legal assistance in negotiating contracts with business partners.
- Advise the Procurement, Finance, Sales, Business Development and other teams on commercial law issues in order to ensure smooth business operations.
- Contribute to the development of internal rules and procedures.
- Take responsibility for assigned commercial law issues in all jurisdictions where Girteka operates.
- Monitor the legal environment, analyze new legislation and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Prepare procedural documents (claims, complaints, responses, etc.) and represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
What do we expect from you?
- Higher university law education and legal work experience in the private sector.
- Solid knowledge of commercial law.
- Excellent oral and written knowledge of English and Lithuanian.
- Business-oriented approach, results-oriented, strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactivity, continuous improvement and seeking additional responsibilities.
- Positive, solution-oriented thinking.
