We are looking for an in-house lawyer to join our Vilnius office and become a trusted business partner in commercial contracts and legal compliance.
In addition to daily work with contracts, you will contribute to strengthening the culture of compliance by coordinating related initiatives, participating in updating internal policies and procedures, and looking for opportunities to improve processes.

Main responsibilities:
Review various commercial contracts and ensure their compliance with company policies, internal procedures and applicable laws before approval;
Collaborate with procurement and other business teams in the process of contract review, coordination and approval;
Identify contractual, legal and business risks, escalate them in a timely manner and collaborate with stakeholders on appropriate risk mitigation solutions;
Coordinate the activities of the Vilnius branch Legal Requirements Committee;
Monitor changes in legal requirements and help ensure that business processes remain compliant with requirements;
Review and update related internal policies, procedures and other internal documents
Participate in internal compliance reviews and audits;
Provide practical recommendations and consultations to business teams on the application of contracts, compliance, policies and procedures and other legal issues;
Seek opportunities to strengthen work processes and improve operational efficiency;

Education and qualifications:
Higher university degree in law;
Experience in contract management, legal, compliance or other related business function;
Understanding of commercial contracts and their review process;
Ability to assess contractual, legal and business risks;
Excellent oral and written English;
Skills and competencies
Analytical thinking and ability to evaluate information in a structured manner;
Diligence, accuracy and attention to detail;
Ability to clearly explain legal or compliance topics to business teams;
Good planning, priority management and time management skills;
Proactive, solution-oriented approach;
Ability to build trust-based relationships with different teams and stakeholders;
Ability to work independently;
Clear and professional communication both verbally and in writing;

Experience working with labor law, intellectual property, legal protection of personal data, cybersecurity requirements;
Experience in dealing with disputes arising from commercial contracts;
Experience in contract management, legal, compliance or other related business function;
Understanding of commercial contracts and their review process;
Ability to assess contractual, legal and business risks;
Excellent oral and written English;
