NARBUTAS is currently looking for a Lawyer whose purpose is to contribute to the management of legal risks of the group of companies, by consulting on legal issues, preparing and negotiating contracts and other legal documents, as well as participating in the resolution of labor law and compliance issues.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES:

• To consult the group companies on compliance, personal data protection (GDPR) and other regulatory issues.
• To participate in the development and improvement of the group's compliance management system, to prepare and update compliance policies, procedures and processes.
• To monitor relevant changes in EU and national legislation, assess their impact on the group's activities and coordinate the implementation of necessary changes.
• Coordinate and/or participate in projects to implement regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, PPWR, EUDR, transparency, sustainability and other relevant areas).
• Consult the group on GDPR issues, participate in assessing data processing processes, preparing documentation, contracts, data protection impact assessments, examining data subject requests and personal data security incidents.
• Perform compliance and legal risk assessments, provide recommendations on the management of identified risks and preventive measures.
• Participate in developing, reviewing and improving internal control, ethics, conflicts of interest, whistleblower protection, anti-corruption and other compliance processes.
• Participate in internal group projects that require legal or compliance assessment, cooperate with other departments in implementing changes.
• Prepare and conduct training and internal communication on GDPR, compliance and other regulatory issues;
• Prepare and update internal legal acts related to strengthening transparency and anti-corruption environment;
• Administer reporting channels, investigate potential violations and monitor the implementation of recommendations.
• Consult employees on anti-corruption behavior issues, contribute to strengthening the culture of transparency.
• Contribute to the management of general legal issues and ensure mutual substitution in the Legal Department according to operational needs.

SUCCESSFUL WORK WILL REQUIRE:

• 2-3 years of similar work experience in the field of compliance.
• Knowledge of personal data protection (GDPR).
• Ability to navigate other general legal issues (in the areas of contracts, corporate law).
• Analytical thinking, ability to quickly assess situations and make decisions.
• Communication, cooperation and argumentation skills.
• Responsiveness, initiative, responsibility and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, independently plan work and adapt to changing priorities.
• English language skills in writing and speaking (B2).

SALARY:

Hourly wage: €17.70 - €23.81/hour excluding taxes.
Average monthly salary: €2953 - €3972/month excluding taxes, depending on actual hours worked.

The organization uses a cumulative accounting of working hours.

The final salary will depend on the experience and competencies.
