Terra Vertical Communications, a US-based telecommunications and wireless infrastructure construction company, is seeking qualified Telecom Tower Technicians (Level II or III) and Team Leaders to join its dynamic team. Projects include mobile towers, rooftop base stations, fiber optic networks, small cell and microwave systems. Our work environment is focused on safety, accuracy and the highest level of customer service.
Main responsibilities
- Install, upgrade and service wireless communication equipment in towers, on building roofs and on poles.
- Follow technical plans, construction drawings and project specifications.
- Actively participate in daily safety briefings, work planning and site assessments.
- Identify and eliminate workplace hazards according to company safety procedures.
- Ensure that work meets quality standards and is completed on time.
- Use RF and fiber optic test equipment (Anritsu, OTDR, PIM testers, etc.) for diagnostics and system commissioning.
- Complete daily documentation: work reports, timesheets and project completion documents.
- Be responsible for the condition and accounting of tools, equipment and company vehicles.
- Contribute to incident investigations and corrective action implementation.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in tower erection or telecommunications facilities.
- Ability to operate antenna alignment equipment and mechanical and electrical hand tools.
- Valid certifications: OSHA 10/30, NWSA.
- Willingness to travel frequently and for extended periods (6-8 weeks).
- Good physical condition, ability to use all climbing safety equipment and hand tools.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to use GPS-based time tracking applications and basic computer programs.
Physical requirements
- Ability to comfortably work and climb towers up to approximately 152 m in height.
- Ability to lift weights in excess of approximately 23 kg.
- Ability to work effectively outdoors in all seasons.
- Willingness to work night shifts and longer work days, if necessary.
- Mandatory periodic drug testing.

- Experience lifting and securing loads and operating forklifts, trailers or other construction site equipment.
- Ability to operate test equipment (PIM, Anritsu, OTDR, ODM).

- Fluent in English.
