Head of Testing Department

We are looking for a colleague who:

• form the company's information systems (hereinafter referred to as IS) testing and quality assurance strategy, methodologies, standards and control measures;
• coordinate the testing process of IS, their changes, integrations and new functionalities throughout the entire life cycle of the systems;
• ensure that specialists participating in the testing process, applying established testing methodologies, properly define the testing scope, select methods and scenarios and ensure the reliability of testing results;
• initiate the improvement of testing processes, methods, tools and automation solutions;
• monitor the effectiveness indicators of testing activities, analyze the results and provide suggestions for improving activities;
• cooperate with the systems development, maintenance, information security, architecture and operations departments to ensure high-quality development of information systems.

For this position, we need:

• higher university degree or equivalent;
• at least 1 year of experience in leading a department or project group;
• at least 2 years of work experience with specifications, technical documentation, software testing, design or programming;
• experience in planning and organizing testing activities in several projects or product teams simultaneously;
• ability to effectively collaborate with a team of programmers, IT analysts and technical managers, shaping the direction of IS testing, applying modern IS testing practices and ensuring compliance with technical quality standards;
• knowledge of test management tools (e.g. Jira, Xray, Azure DevOps, TestRail);
• knowledge of IT management standards (Agile methodologies), best practices and at least 2 years of experience in their practical application;
• correct Lithuanian language (written and spoken), English language proficiency – B1 level;
• compliance with the requirements set by the Law on the Protection of Objects Important for Ensuring National Security of the Republic of Lithuania;

Salary:

• 3,806 - 5,708 Eur/month. excluding taxes. The exact amount of salary will depend on your competence and professional experience.
