about the company
Our client is LT Metal Partners, a company that professionally develops steel trading business in Lithuania and neighboring countries. The company supplies high-quality stainless steel products and specialized, custom-made steel solutions. We work with more than 100 EU factories, ensuring a wide range of products and competitive conditions.
Nature of work:
- Demand planning and calculation of purchase needs based on sales forecasts and history
- Management of inventory levels and ensuring optimal product structure
- Formation of purchase plans in the ERP system and their coordination with sales and purchasing teams
- Coordination of supply chain processes from ordering to delivery of goods to the warehouse
- Tracking of suppliers' production deadlines, orders and deliveries, communication on deviations
- Management of import flows from the EU and Asia
- Organization and coordination of transport (land and sea) with carriers and forwarders
- Control of orders, transport and import documentation
Requirements:
- Analytical thinking and ability to work with data
- Good Excel skills (required)
- Experience or strong interest in supply chain / logistics / procurement
- Knowledge of ERP systems (advantage – Directo)
- Ability to work with forecasts, inventory and order data
- Structured, meticulous and responsible work style
- Good English skills for communication with suppliers
