Primary responsibilities
- Constant search for the best price offers from carriers, smooth submission of documents and entry into the system.
- Effective inventory planning to avoid stock-out situations or excess goods.
- Ordering goods and negotiating with suppliers.
- Search for new suppliers: Active search and negotiation of new suppliers of finished products and production raw materials.
- Quality control: Defect analysis, communication with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Close communication with our warehouse regarding incoming cargo.
- Management and support of supply and cargo tracking systems.
Requirements
- Experience in e-commerce logistics: At least 1-2 years of experience working with international cargo (especially from China to the EU).
- Excellent negotiation skills: Ability to search for suppliers, analyze costs and negotiate better conditions with arguments.
- Systematic and analytical thinking: Love for order, numbers and process documentation.
- Good knowledge of English (written), as I communicate with foreign suppliers and partners on a daily basis.
