Responsibilities:
- Formation and submission of purchase orders, tracking of order progress;
- Formation and submission of transport orders (to the transport manager);
- Communication with suppliers in Lithuania and other countries (especially China);
- Monitoring the supply process: control of delivery terms, problem solving (delays, discrepancies, defects);
- Lead time - management of supplier delivery terms;
- Communication with logistics partner regarding receipt of goods, problem solving;
- Invoice collection in the ERP system;
- Maintaining optimal warehouse balances and monitoring inventory levels;
- Cooperation with other teams in planning needs;
- Achieving operational goals and implementing key indicators;
- Data analysis and providing insights.
Requirements:
- Higher or higher education (preferably in economics, management, logistics or supply chain);
- At least 1-2 years of experience in the field of supply, purchasing or logistics;
- English at least B2 level (working with foreign suppliers);
- Knowledge of purchase order management and supply processes;
- Experience working with ERP systems;
- Understanding of logistics and transportation processes;
- Knowledge of the principles of inventory management and warehouse balance optimization;
- Good skills in working with Excel or other data analysis tools;
- Responsibility, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills;
- Good communication and collaboration skills;
- Advantage: experience working with Asian (especially Chinese) suppliers and supply planning (lead time management).
