Supply manager

We are looking for a strong Procurement Manager who would not only administer purchases, but would actively search for the best supply solutions in Lithuania and abroad.
“Metallum Novum” – a company manufacturing and trading fences, metal products and small architecture.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• You will purchase metal, raw materials, components and materials required for production.
• You will actively search for and evaluate new suppliers in Lithuania and abroad.
• You will negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery and other commercial conditions.
• You will plan stocks and ensure that the materials required for production are in place on time.
• You will create a base of alternative suppliers and reduce supply risks.
• You will monitor market prices and look for real opportunities to reduce the cost of purchase.
• You will resolve problems and claims arising with suppliers.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
A person who:

• likes and knows how to negotiate;
• after receiving the price, thinks: “Can’t we really get better?”;
• is proactive and seeks solutions on his own;
• understands that a good purchase is not only the lowest price, but also quality, terms, payment terms and reliability;
• is able to plan and manage inventory;
• solves problems in advance, not when production has already stopped;
• can communicate and negotiate independently in English.

Experience in the field of metal, manufacturing or building materials is a great advantage.
