We are looking for a supply manager to join our team and help ensure that the right goods are where they are needed at the right time.
Sounds simple. In reality, not quite.
We are a growing company, leading the market in product selection, so our supply is very dynamic. New products, special customer requests, non-standard needs, supplier delays, delivery changes and situations when one product needs to be quickly replaced with another are constantly emerging.
Therefore, we are not looking for someone who will just form an order and wait for delivery.
We are looking for someone who would be able to quickly connect many different things every day, understand their importance, see the consequences and make decisions.

Your responsibility will be to ensure the smooth supply of goods from the moment the need arises to their delivery to the warehouse or to the customer.

A customer may need a product sooner than planned. Sometimes the most appropriate solution will be to wait, and sometimes - to find another product or supply route within a few minutes.
Therefore, in this position, it is not enough to be good at counting. You need to understand what problem the sales manager, customer or colleague is solving at that moment. Be able to quickly distinguish where it is really urgent and where it is just talking loudly. And help find a solution that would be good not only for one order, but also for the entire business.

- Priority management. Not everything that is urgent for one person is the most important thing for the company. You will need to be able to assess it and communicate it clearly.
- Empathy. The sales team does not approach you to interfere, but because they are solving a customer's problem. We hope that you will want to understand its essence.
- Emotional intelligence. You will need to remain calm when deadlines change, goods are out of stock or you need to answer several people at the same time.
- Independence. Not every situation will have instructions written. You will need to delve deeper, ask questions, evaluate and make a decision.
- Responsibility. An order is not completed when a letter is sent to the supplier. It is completed when the goods have arrived, the information is correct, and the people involved know the situation.
Owning your own chair. For us, this means:
- knowing what is happening with your orders;
- not waiting for someone to remind you;
- noticing risks before they become a problem;
- return with an answer, and not leave the question hanging;
- inform colleagues in a timely manner;
- not only identify the problem, but also suggest solutions;
- We do not expect you to always make the ideal decision. We hope that you will not disappear, do not shirk responsibility and do everything to resolve the situation.
Experience and knowledge. We expect that:
- have experience in supply, purchasing, logistics, inventory management or similar;
- work well with Excel or Google Sheets;
- are able to analyze larger amounts of data;
- know how to work with business management systems;
- can communicate in English with foreign suppliers;
- can communicate clearly and accurately in writing and orally.
- Experience in trade, building materials, production or import would be a great advantage.
However, not only the previous position is important to us. What matters is how you think, how you solve problems, and how much responsibility you are willing to take.
What are you going to do?
Main tasks:
In short, it will be necessary to help the company have goods, but at the same time not to overload the warehouse with unsuitable leftovers.
- plan and form orders for goods to suppliers;
- analyze sales, balances, seasonality and future demand;
- ensure optimal balances of goods;
- control production and delivery terms of orders;
- communicate daily with Lithuanian and foreign suppliers;
- coordinate prices, terms, quantities and other supply conditions;
- track the progress of orders and respond to changes in a timely manner;
- coordinate information between suppliers, warehouse, sales and other departments of the company;
- manage requests for special and non-standard products;
- search for alternatives when a product is late, missing or the customer's needs change;
- help select a suitable replacement product;
- analyze supply processes and make suggestions for their improvement;
- ensure that data in the ERP system is accurate and up-to-date;
- resolve daily supply situations without waiting for them to become problems.
In short, it will be necessary to help the company have goods, but at the same time not to overload the warehouse with unsuitable leftovers.
