Full-time
Vilnius - UAB „Vilniaus Alus“
Each of our bottles and cans starts with raw materials – extracts, sugar, yeast, CO₂, labels, cardboard, etc. We are looking for someone who will ensure that production does not stop due to missing raw materials, that stocks are optimal, and that each batch is of high quality and with neat documentation.

We produce in two factories, so you will coordinate the supply of both and help them operate as one system – you will coordinate needs, stocks and deliveries, and cooperate daily with production, warehouse, quality, sales and finance teams, as well as suppliers in Lithuania and abroad.

Your responsibilities:

  • Demand Planning: You will plan the demand for raw materials and packaging for both factories (12 weeks in detail and 12 months ahead), determine safety stocks, reorder points and deadlines.
  • Order Management and Monitoring: You will create orders, track deliveries and proactively identify potential delays, preventing production from stopping.
  • Factory Coordination: You will coordinate inventory and delivery flows between departments, taking into account warehouse capacity, production schedules and delivery windows.
  • Supplier Selection and Negotiations: You will organize tenders, negotiate terms and evaluate offers based on the total cost of acquisition (TCO), not just the unit price.
  • Cash Flow Planning: Together with the finance team, you will set up a payment calendar so that settlements are smooth and measured.
  • Quality and Compliance: You will ensure that each shipment arrives with complete documentation; together with technologists and the quality team, you will evaluate new suppliers and resolve non-conformities.
  • Risk management: you will have a ready and working plan B for each critical raw material.
  • Logistics organization: you will coordinate transport, select appropriate Incoterms conditions and communicate with freight forwarders.
  • New product launch: you will be involved in the launch of new products from day one.

How we work:

  • Early news is the best news. If you notice a problem or delay a few weeks in advance, it is your strength, not a mistake. We solve problems together and openly, instead of looking for blame or hiding problems.
  • Decisions are based on numbers and facts. Your analysis, calculations and arguments will directly determine the purchasing strategy, inventory levels and cash flow planning. Your voice will be heard here.
  • Trust and a clear field of action. We will set clear boundaries: you will know which decisions you make completely independently and which you coordinate with the team. You will have real freedom to act within the limits of your responsibilities.
  • Structured start (first 90 days). You will enter with a clear plan: you will understand the processes, walk through the warehouses of both factories together with the warehouse teams, get acquainted with the recipes and main suppliers. You will have the support of your manager and team throughout the adaptation period.
  • Freedom to create and grow. We will build a lot from the ground up: a common factory demand planning system, a risk matrix, a supplier evaluation model. You will have a great space to leave your professional mark and grow with the business.

What do we expect from you:

  • Experience: at least 2 years of successful work in the field of purchasing, supply chain or production planning (experience in the food or beverage industry is a great advantage).
  • Friendship with numbers: strong analytical skills and fluent Excel management (data analysis, formulas, modeling).
  • Foreign languages: excellent English (both verbally in negotiations and in written daily communication with foreign suppliers).
  • Precision: thoroughness and attention to detail when working with technical, quality and customs documentation.
  • Flexible communication: ability to find a common language with a wide variety of people - from a warehouse operator and a production foreman to an international supplier's sales manager.
  • Mobility: opportunities to regularly visit both of our factories.

We will consider it an advantage:

  • Standards knowledge: experience with food safety and quality management systems (HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC, IFS or BRC).
  • International trade knowledge: practical experience with import, customs procedures and Incoterms rules.
  • Systems management: successful work with enterprise resource planning systems (ERP).
  • Understanding of the specifics: knowledge of beverage production raw materials and packaging features.

You'll love it here if:

  • You like order and structure: you enjoy a clear plan and the feeling when the pieces of a complex puzzle fall into place perfectly.
  • You see several steps ahead: you notice emerging risks in advance and take action before they turn into fires.
  • You are persistent: if a supplier does not respond to an email, you pick up the phone and call until you get an answer.
  • You remain calm under pressure: when several things are burning at once, you separate the essence from the noise and solve the most important problem first, not the easiest one.
  • You are honest with numbers and yourself: you do not mask reality, you rely on facts and do not avoid responsibility.

What we offer:

  • Salary: 3,300 – 4,200 EUR/month (gross). The final salary depends on your experience and competencies.
  • Visible impact: a strategic and influential role where we will see the result of your work in every bottle or can we produce.
  • A culture without accusations: an open and supportive team where questions are valued, problems are solved together, and mutual assistance is a matter of course.
  • Real professional growth: the opportunity to create and standardize processes from scratch, and not just follow the routines created by others.
