We invite a SUBTITLE TOWER to join the TV news service team and discover not only a space to grow, but also a community that supports and inspires you to strive for more. We are looking for a new team member for a 0.75 full-time position.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Titling of television programs and timely provision of subtitles according to broadcast schedules;
- Creation, editing of subtitles and their synchronization with the video and audio track;
- Ensuring linguistic accuracy, error identification and cooperation with editors and content creators;
- Ensuring the correctness (grammar, style, syntax) and clarity of subtitles;
- Working with specialized subtitling software;
- Quality control of subtitle content, ensuring ethical and information accuracy requirements;
- Prompt response to program changes and ensuring a smooth work process.
We hope you will have:
- Higher education (in the field of Lithuanian language, philology or completed Lithuanian language editing courses - an advantage);
- Similar work experience in the field of titling or audiovisual arts (an advantage);
- Excellent knowledge of the Lithuanian language and grammar;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (live broadcast conditions);
- Quick reaction, attention to detail and responsibility;
- Good computer literacy skills;
- Ability to work on a flexible schedule (early mornings, evenings, weekends).
