FLEET MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

Assistant Mechanic Position
Our transport fleet is large – about 100 trucks and 10 passenger cars. For such a transport system to operate smoothly, we need not only good drivers and mechanics, but also someone who would ensure that daily practical matters are handled on time and without chaos.
We are looking for an active, responsible and organized transport fleet maintenance specialist who would take care of garage maintenance, vehicle inventory, shipments, items needed during driver changes and other daily farm issues.
This is a job for someone who likes not to sit and wait for something to happen, but to see what is needed and make sure that everything runs smoothly.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Maintain the order, cleanliness and organization of the company's garage and auxiliary facilities.
• Take care of the company's vehicle inventory, conduct periodic inventories of trucks and passenger cars.
• Organize and control items, work tools and inventory transferred during driver changes.
• Take care of the receipt, dispatch, distribution and transfer of shipments to drivers.
• Ensure that the items, tools and inventory needed by drivers are prepared on time.
• Monitor the equipment, order and general condition of vehicles.
• Help organize the delivery of vehicles to services, technical inspections or other necessary work.
• Take care of various economic issues of the company, ensure that there is no shortage of necessary tools.
• Perform other instructions from the manager related to the maintenance of the vehicle fleet and the company's economy.

WHAT WE EXPECT?

• Category B driver's license (CE category - a big advantage).
• Ability to use a computer and basic work programs.
• Knowledge of Russian, English would be an advantage.
• Responsibility, honesty and diligence.
• Organization and the ability to independently plan daily work.
• Initiative - to notice what needs to be done without waiting for a separate reminder.
• Ability to communicate with drivers, colleagues and suppliers.
• Economical and practical approach to everyday situations.
• Similar work experience in a transport company would be an advantage.
