Your main responsibilities:
- Working with the company's own transport fleet (FVL / car transportation in the Western European market);
- Searching for cargo in external freight exchanges and customer databases;
- Purchasing cargo from the market and optimal filling of transport;
- Route planning and optimization of transport movement;
- Effective planning of loading of road transport vehicles according to transport capabilities and routes;
- Checking information, controlling cargo transportation and promptly solving problems;
- Working with the database, administering and controlling the execution of transport orders;
- Communicating with customers regarding cargo offers and transport planning.
(Communication with drivers is not the responsibility of this position).
Employee requirements:
- Experience in forwarding or transport planning;
- Experience in car transportation (FVL / car carrier) is a great advantage;
- Experience in purchasing cargo from the transport market (freight exchanges, customers);
- Ability to plan transport routes with multiple loading and unloading;
- Logical thinking, ability to quickly navigate the situation and make decisions;
- Ability to work with a large amount of information and effectively manage processes;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Good computer skills (MS Excel, Word, Outlook);
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
