We are looking for a responsible, analytical and result-oriented Transport Claims Manager who would ensure a fast and high-quality transport claims administration process and effectively manage additional shipment and transportation charges.
Primary responsibilities
- Register and administer transport claims in the shortest possible time.
- Collect, verify and submit all information and documents necessary for the processing of claims.
- Actively monitor the progress of claims processing and communicate with carriers, partners, customers and internal departments of the company.
- Administer additional charges for shipments and transportation and assess their validity.
- Analyze the causes of additional charges, identify recurring problems and risks.
- Dispute unjustified additional charges and seek their reduction or elimination.
- Prepare reports, monitor key performance indicators and provide insights into trends in claims and additional charges.
- Propose solutions and preventive measures that help reduce the number of claims and additional charges in the future.
- Contribute to the improvement of transport and logistics processes and more effective cooperation -between teams.
Requirements
- You have experience in transport, logistics, claims administration or similar fields.
- You are familiar with transport documents and basic freight transport processes.
- You are able to analyze information, notice discrepancies and make data-based decisions.
- You are attentive to details, responsible and able to plan work independently.
- You are able to manage several tasks at the same time and meet deadlines.
- You have good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- You have good oral and written knowledge of Lithuanian and English.
- You are able to work with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of the CMR Convention, insurance processes or cargo damage administration would be an advantage.
