JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead the transport department, ensuring smooth operation of processes – from driver recruitment to transportation control.
  • Ensure stable operation of the transport department, optimize driver management and reduce their turnover.
  • Coordinate vehicle maintenance and service work.
  • Implement the planned development strategy.
  • Develop and implement effective transport management processes – ensure that they operate through the TMS system.
  • Analyze performance indicators, optimize processes and solve operational challenges.
  • Ensure teamwork, clear communication and division of responsibilities.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL (-A)

  • Experience in managing transport processes “from-to” in a medium-sized company.
  • Broad approach to transport operations management, ability to cover both strategic and operational aspects.
  • Experience with transport management and service network organization.
  • Working experience with a transport management system (TMS).
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and promptly solve challenges.
  • Proficiency in Russian, both spoken and written.

YOU WILL STAND OUT IF YOU HAVE THESE COMPETENCES

  • Experience in developing and expanding a transport business.
  • Ability to manage driver turnover and ensure their long-term motivation.
  • Experience in solving complex situations (fuel management, fines, damages, etc.).
  • Experience working with AndSoft/Fleethand programs.
