UAB "Avelita" is a transport company that has been growing for more than 17 years. We are inviting a Transport Equipment Manager to join our team, who will take care of the technical condition of our transport fleet, organize repair and maintenance work, help analyze and make decisions regarding the expansion and renewal of the company's fleet. They will also strive to optimize repair costs.
What will your daily routine be like:
- Participate in decisions regarding the expansion and renewal of the company's fleet.
- Plan and coordinate transport maintenance, repairs and services;
- Organize and control repair work and their deadlines;
- Communicate with service centers, suppliers and other partners;
- Monitor the validity periods of technical inspections, insurances, permits and other documents;
- Oversee the documentation of the technical department - invoices, repair acts, contracts, etc.;
- Analyze the results of the technical department's activities and look for ways to optimize costs and processes;
- Promptly resolve emerging problems - breakdowns, delays and other situations;
- Organize the daily activities of the technical department and ensure that transport is properly maintained and that as little time is spent in service centers as possible.
We believe that you:
- Have experience in the field of transport maintenance, repair or operation;
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and operation;
- Able to independently plan, organize and coordinate work;
- Are responsible, independent and proactive;
- Able to quickly respond to problems and make decisions;
- Know how to work with a computer;
- Have a category B driver's license (C, CE is an advantage).
