Transport Manager (own fleet) - Hybrid work model

Full-time, hybrid work model in Vilnius. The office is located in Pilaitė, there is an opportunity to work from home part of the time.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and optimizing daily transport operations on European and Scandinavian routes, ensuring timely and cost-effective cargo delivery.

Main daily tasks:

Communication with drivers (in Russian) and prompt resolution of emerging problems;
Reservation of ferries to/from Scandinavia;
Planning of truck fuel stops, price analysis;
Route planning and optimization (we use Fleethand / Infotrans systems)
Accurate transport documentation and reporting;
Close cooperation with the sales team to ensure efficient loading of trucks;
Informing customers about the status of cargo and transportation;
Continuous improvement of the quality of services provided and operational efficiency;
Assisting the sales team - communicating with some existing and potential customers through freight exchanges and direct communication channels.

Experience > 1 year of international transportation in Europe or Scandinavia;
Good knowledge of English, Russian and Lithuanian is required; knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage;

Ability to plan routes, anticipating potential problems;
Optimize cargo transportation and effectively manage daily transport operations;
Organizational, problem-solving and communication skills;
Ability to work with transport management systems, analyze information and make operational decisions independently.

1800-2500 €/mon. net
