Transport Manager

The work schedule is full-time, weekly, or by agreement with the team, with a periodically changing two-shift work schedule - one shift runs from 07:00 to 16:00, the other shift runs from 10:00 to 19:00.

Monitoring and managing cargo transportation across Europe by heavy transport, ensuring timely loading and unloading of cargo, creating routes for drivers in the truck fleet monitoring program.

Every morning (if the start of work is in the 1st shift), preparing and sending updated cargo movement information to clients, and adjusting if clients request any cargo movement adjustments.

Upon receipt of a cargo order, it will be necessary to immediately transfer it to the driver by uploading it to the Translogica program and transferring it to the Tislog truck monitoring system. Communication with clients regarding loading, travel progress, unloading, and planning the next order takes place throughout the trip.
After the trip, it is necessary to check that the driver has properly photographed all documents related to the completed transportation and upload the transportation documents to the server, marking them with the code received from the client for each unloading separately.

There is no need to search for cargo around Europe - we are provided with cargo by our clients, but returning the truck to Lithuania and sending the truck from Lithuania back to Europe - we search for cargo ourselves, so this will be part of the job - to ensure that the available trucks return to Lithuania on time and leave back to Europe on time, and in case of any changes, to sell the ordered cargo to other carriers in a timely manner.

After the driver returns from the trip - to receive documents from the driver, check CMRs, and the completeness of the truck and semi-trailer, and check whether the truck with the semi-trailer was damaged.
In the event of a breakdown on the road, to find out the cause of the breakdown, to the extent possible and after consulting with colleagues, to call the most appropriate assistance, or to arrange a visit to a truck repair shop for the truck.

In the event of a traffic accident - to find out all the circumstances of the traffic accident and report the traffic accident to the insurance company, and continue to properly administer the incident until it is finally clarified and closed.
Instructing drivers before the trip and periodically, reminding them about economical driving, safe work, so that the work goes smoothly;

Consulting drivers on work and rest regimes and other work issues;
Administration of transport and route documents;
Solving problem situations;

Similar work experience would be an advantage;

Knowledge of Lithuanian, Russian, as well as English or German, both spoken and written.

Personal qualities – resistance to stressful situations, sociability, patience, quick orientation and ability to react quickly and solve work situations, ability to work in a team;

Computer literacy.

Communication and cooperation with drivers, organizing their work and cargo transportation;

Working with truck/driver monitoring and management software.

Data aggregation using a transport management program;

Searching for transport loads ensuring efficient route management and quality service provision;

Planning and organizing the work of drivers;
