WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

As a Firefighter Team Leader at UAB Rheinmetall Defence Lietuva, your daily tasks will include:

  • Organizing and technically managing the activities of the factory's firefighter team
  • Ensuring the operational readiness of the factory's firefighter team, leading actions during incidents and organizing measures to eliminate the danger
  • Organizing exercises and constantly improving the competences of the factory's firefighter team
  • Ensuring general preventive fire safety at the factory
  • Ensuring the maintenance, inspections and readiness of firefighting equipment, fire extinguishing equipment and extinguishers
  • Preparing, maintaining and constantly updating fire safety plans
  • Cooperating with responsible state institutions and services on fire safety issues
  • Organizing and conducting fire safety and evacuation training
  • Ensuring the safety and health of employees in the department
  • Rescuing people and property
  • Firefighting
  • Providing first aid
  • Driving fire rescue equipment
  • Liquidating the consequences of incidents

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • At least secondary education and acquired firefighter qualification or you must have completed introductory training courses at a statutory vocational training institution and acquired firefighter competence
  • Practical experience of working as a firefighter and the ability to lead actions during emergency situations
  • Supervised work experience in the position of firefighter team/unit leader
  • Detailed professional knowledge in the field of preventive fire safety
  • Valid category C driver's license
  • Stress resistance, reliability and ability to work in a team
