Qualification requirements:
Have the following valid maritime qualification documents in accordance with the international convention STCW'78 "On standards of training, certification and watchkeeping for seafarers":
1. Diploma as an engineer officer on watch on ships powered by engines of 750 kW or more, or as a chief engineer officer on ships powered by engines of 3000 kW or more;
2. Special certificate for engine room resource management (ERM) training courses;
3. Special certificate for personal survival techniques (SOLAS), fire safety and fire fighting, basic first aid, personal safety and social responsibility training;
4. Special certificate for lifeboat and raft training;
5. Special certificate for fire fighting training;
6. Special certificate for first aid training.

Your main responsibilities:
- During his shift, carry out the normal operation of the main engines, auxiliary engines, all mechanisms, equipment and systems of the port tugboat, emergency and warning signals and control and measuring devices;
- Independently carry out the operation and on-call maintenance of the port tugboat engine room during the shift;
- Carry out maintenance of the port tugboat power plant, technical equipment and scheduled preventive inspection and scheduled preventive repairs of the work bar assigned to it according to the plan - schedule;
- Control the maintenance of the ship's technical documentation, registration of engine room logbook entries;
- During towing of ships, operate the port tugboat winch, moor the port tugboat to/from the shore, connect/disconnect the power cable to the shore power supply column;
- Comply with safety regulations at work.

Has at least 1 year of work experience working on ships of the maritime register in the position of ship's engine room mechanic or chief mechanic.
We offer:
- Interesting and dynamic work in the port of Klaipėda: shift work on board - 1 day on duty + 3 or 2 days off: from 7-8 shifts to 9-10 shifts per month.
- Additional health insurance.
- Salary: 9.30 Eur/hour before taxes or 1,250 -1,350 Eur/month after taxes, depending on the number of shifts per month.
