Main responsibilities:
- Provide psychological counseling to children and adolescents;
- Help resolve crisis, conflict and problem situations;
- Be able to perform an initial assessment of the client's situation, participate in interviews and case discussions;
- Cooperate with various institutions providing psychological, psychiatric and pedagogical assistance to children and families;
Requirements for the candidate:
- University or equivalent, Master's degree in psychology in the field of social sciences;
- At least 1 year of experience in counseling children (age 3-16);
- Independent skills in choosing and applying psychological counseling methods, and organizing one's work;
- Individual activity certificate;
- Ability to systematize and analyze information, and prepare necessary documents;
- Ability to assess children's developmental characteristics, strengths and difficulties;
- Ability to maintain constructive communication with clients' (children's) parents, social workers;
- Responsibility, independence, initiative and creativity;
- Fluent in Lithuanian (written and spoken). Ability to consult in Russian is a great advantage;
- Good computer skills.
