A company operating in the transport and logistics sector is looking for a Driver Selection Team Leader in Šiauliai to join the organization's growth and operational efficiency. This is a position for someone who is able to combine a strategic approach to driver recruitment and retention with the responsibility of organizing the team's daily activities.

The main focus of this position will be on managing the driver recruitment and selection processes, ensuring driver personnel administration and increasing the team's efficiency. This role will be extremely important in ensuring the implementation of the organization's growth plans, smooth integration of new drivers and long-term employee retention.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the attraction of drivers in accordance with the approved growth plans of the organization.
  • Organize and manage the activities of the driver selection team, ensuring the achievement of the set goals.
  • Coordinate the processes of searching, selecting and hiring drivers in Lithuania and foreign markets.
  • Ensure the smooth introduction of new drivers into the organization and the adaptation process.
  • Manage driver turnover rates, analyze the reasons and initiate employee retention decisions.
  • Organize the processes of preparing, checking and administering driver documentation.
  • Ensure compliance of migration processes and related documentation with the requirements of legal acts.
  • Cooperate with other departments on driver training, education and integration issues.
  • Contribute to ensuring the social and psychological well-being of drivers and managing complex situations.
  • Analyze the efficiency of processes, identify improvement opportunities and implement changes.
  • Develop team members, ensure the development of necessary competencies and clarity of functions within the team.

WE HOPE YOU:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience in the transport and logistics sector, working with international driver recruitment, administration or personnel management processes.
  • Have experience in organizing and coordinating driver search, selection and employment processes.
  • Experience in leading a team would be an advantage.
  • Have a good understanding of the specifics of the international transportation business, the challenges of driver recruitment and employee turnover management.
  • Have experience in organizing the recruitment and migration processes of foreign citizens.
  • Knowledge of migration processes and legal requirements related to the employment of foreign citizens.
  • Able to effectively plan, organize and coordinate large-scale processes.
  • Have strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and make decisions in rapidly changing situations.
  • Are focused on results, process efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • You are very fluent in English and Russian, both spoken and written.
