Nature of work

We are currently recruiting a Head of Department to join the Operational Resilience Department team in Vilnius. He/She will be responsible for the formation and development of the company's information security, physical security, crisis and civil protection, corruption prevention, risk management, compliance and ensuring national security interests. This is a strategic management position where you will have the opportunity to strengthen the organization's resilience, security and transparency and ensure that the company is prepared to respond effectively to changing risks and challenges.

  • To form and implement the company's operational resilience, security and ensuring national security interests strategy, taking into account the role of Litgrid as a strategically important company and critical infrastructure manager.
  • To lead the Operational Resilience Department, ensuring clear governance of responsibilities, effective use of resources and implementation of strategic goals.
  • To ensure the development of the information and cybersecurity direction, strengthening the company's resilience to cyber threats and the security of the technological environment.
  • Ensure effective management of physical security, crisis and civil protection and mobilization areas, increasing the company's preparedness to operate in extreme conditions.
  • Strengthen the culture of risk management, compliance, corruption prevention and transparency, integrating these areas into the company's management and decision-making processes.
  • Coordinate the safeguarding of national security interests, the protection of strategic and critical infrastructure and the company's preparedness for relevant security challenges.
  • Represent the company and ensure effective cooperation with state, regulatory, law enforcement, defense, civil protection and other institutions.
  • Initiate and support the strengthening of the culture of security, resilience and business continuity in the organization.

Employee requirements

  • Higher university education.
  • Work experience in developing or implementing security, operational resilience, information and/or cybersecurity, physical security, risk management, compliance or related programs in a company or group of companies.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with the legal acts and regulatory requirements of the Republic of Lithuania governing security, civil protection, corruption prevention, risk management, compliance and protection of national security interests.
  • Ability to develop and implement operational strategies, manage changes and coordinate complex projects.
  • Experience in a strategically important, regulated, energy, infrastructure or national security-critical organization would be an advantage.
  • Experience in management, strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively use digital work and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent Lithuanian and very good English skills.
  • Category B driver's license.
  • Impeccable reputation, high ethical standards, responsibility and result orientation.

Salary offered:

EUR 7,500 - EUR 9,600 (taxes included), depending on competencies and experience.
