Main responsibilities:
- Organize and carry out control of compliance with railway traffic safety requirements, conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of departments
- Assess compliance of employees' activities with legal acts, company procedures and technological processes
- Participate in investigating traffic accidents, incidents and dangerous cases, participate in determining their causes and provide preventive measures
- Analyze traffic safety indicators, prepare reports and proposals for improving activities, participate in the risk assessment process and prepare risk reduction measures
- Participate in the preparation and updating of traffic safety procedures, instructions and other regulatory documents
- Consult employees on railway traffic safety issues.
- Participate in organizing training, briefings and carrying out educational activities.
What do we expect?
- Higher university/collegiate education (preferably in transport, engineering, safety or other related field)
- Work experience in the field of railway transport (an advantage)
- Knowledge of the legal acts regulating railway transport activities of the Republic of Lithuania, European Union railway safety requirements, safety management systems, railway traffic organization and risk management principles
- Ability to analyze information, prepare conclusions, recommendations and reports
- Analytical and critical thinking, responsibility, objectivity, attention to detail
- Good communication and cooperation skills, ability to plan work, set priorities and work independently and in a team
- Good computer skills (MS Office)
- Category B driver's license
- Fluent knowledge of Lithuanian and English
