Baltic Tower Company UAB develops and manages passive telecommunications infrastructure in the Baltic States. Operating under Tele2's Master Service Agreement (MSA), the company manages ground and rooftop radio towers to ensure reliable communication infrastructure. An experienced team is looking for an Operations Manager who can contribute to the development of the telecommunications business.

More about the upcoming tasks:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will oversee daily operations in the Baltics, ensure MSA compliance and help implement the company's strategy. He will also coordinate the Baltic teams and ensure timely delivery of project goals. This position will allow you to drive processes, build teams and make a long-term impact on the regional telecommunications infrastructure.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement Tele2 MSA, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and team responsibilities.
  • Manage tower maintenance managers in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia.
  • Develop and improve operational processes, SOPs and governance structures.
  • Ensure quality control in tower maintenance, construction and service delivery.
  • Develop and manage supplier/subcontractor relationships with the company.
  • Collaborate with CEO on strategy, budgeting and business development issues.

OBJECTIVES FOR THE POSITION:

  • Translate strategic direction into clear operational processes and governance structures.
  • Standardize performance across the Baltics.
  • Ensure full compliance with MSA and timely reporting to management.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency and continuous improvement.
  • In the future: lead infrastructure development, site analysis, upgrades, capacity planning and tenant acquisition together with the Head of Commerce and team.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Experience in operations or project management.
  • Ability to read contracts and translate them into operational actions and processes.
  • Experience in coordinating project activities across multiple regions or sites.
  • Innovative approach to process development and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent in English (Baltic languages would be an advantage).
  • Experience in telecommunications, energy or real estate would be an advantage.
