Main responsibilities:
- Take inventory of company data, systems and reports: determine what data is collected, where it is stored, who uses it, who is responsible for it and what is missing.
- Analyze and document data flows: investigate integrations between the company's MES-ERP, finance and accounting, personnel, document management and other internal and external sources; create and constantly update maps of systems, data movement and interconnections.
- Talk to department managers and employees, understand the real processes of sales, orders, logistics, personnel, finance and production and document their needs.
- Analyze the needs of reporting and analytics solutions: determine requirements for management reports, performance indicators showcases, interactive dashboards and other data analytics solutions; harmonize indicator definitions, calculation logic, data sources, refresh frequency and user access.
- Design and develop automated reporting solutions: select the most appropriate generation method and create automated reports and interactive scorecards using Power BI, SQL, Excel or other appropriate tools - model data, prepare Power Query transformations, DAX measurements and clear visualizations.
- Analyze and automate data collection: evaluate the possibilities of obtaining data from various sources, prepare requirements for automated collection and transformation, and collaborate with programmers or data engineers to prepare data and ensure its quality.
- Analyze financial and operational data - revenue, expenses, cost, margin, inventory, working hours, labor costs and other business-critical sections - and help link them to production and order data.
- Identify data quality issues and their causes, initiate corrections, define validation rules, checkpoints and responsibilities to prevent errors from recurring.
- Evaluate the systems and processes used, provide reasoned suggestions on what to fix, integrate, automate or change; participate in the selection and implementation of new solutions.
- Contribute to the modernization of the company's MES-ERP system according to current needs: help collect and refine user requirements, assess the benefits and priority of changes and participate in testing implemented solutions.
- Participate in data governance, automation and digitalization projects: develop data classification, a dictionary of terms and indicators, master data management, data ownership, quality, life cycle and documentation principles and help implement them.
- Purposefully apply AI functions in analytical solutions: evaluate and, when it creates business value, use Power BI Copilot, Q&A, AI visualizations, anomaly detection, forecasting and other AI capabilities.
What to expect:
- At least 3 years of practical experience in business analysis, data analysis, financial analysis, BI or systems analysis.
- Good understanding of financial and management data: ability to work with revenue, cost, cost, margin, inventory, payroll or budget logic and collaborate with finance and accounting specialists.
- Practical SQL skills and understanding of relational databases - ability to independently find, connect, verify and prepare data for analysis.
- Practical experience with Power BI or another BI tool: data modeling, Power Query transformations, DAX or equivalent calculation logic, visualizations and automated reporting.
- Very good Excel skills, including working with larger data volumes, Power Query, Pivot or equivalent.
- Ability to analyze a process from start to finish, notice discrepancies between departments or systems and clearly describe current and desired behavior.
- Ability to refine a vague need, ask precise questions, agree on indicator definitions and translate the need into a verifiable requirement or report.
- Clear communication and documentation in Lithuanian and ability to read technical information in English.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, responsibility, initiative and ability to work both in a team and independently - from problem identification to solution verification.
Advantages:
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central or other ERP systems;
- Experience in manufacturing, logistics, inventory, labor time or product cost data analysis;
- Experience in management accounting, financial control or performance efficiency projects;
- Experience in data quality, data governance, master data management, data catalog or indicator dictionary development;
- Understanding the principles of data warehousing, ETL / ELT, API and system integrations;
- Experience with Power BI Service, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot or other AI functions in data analytics;
- Experience in using requirements management, BPMN / UML process modeling, user acceptance testing (UAT), systems implementation or task management platforms.
