Nature of work
We are looking for a responsible, motivated and animal-loving veterinary assistant who would like to work in a professional, modern environment, learn from experienced veterinarians and grow together with the Begemotos team in Vilnius and Panevėžys branches.
Daily activities of a veterinary assistant:
Assisting the veterinarian during consultations, examinations and procedures;
Assistance in performing surgical operations and preparing patients for procedures;
Animal care before and after procedures;
Performing laboratory tests and assisting in diagnostic procedures;
Preparation, disinfection and sterilization of medical instruments;
Maintenance of medical equipment;
Entering medical information and data into the clinic system;
Maintaining cleanliness and order in the clinic;
Assisting veterinarians and performing other tasks of the clinic staff;
Pleasant and professional communication with animal owners.

Employee requirements

Love for animals and a caring attitude towards their well-being;
Ability to work in a team and independently;
Willingness to learn, improve and deepen practical knowledge;
Good communication skills;
Ability to remain calm in dynamic and stressful situations;
Computer literacy.
