MAIN FUNCTIONS:
- Search, attract and select new carriers.
- Agreement of cooperation terms and rates with carriers.
- Support and development of the network of existing carriers.
- Monitoring the activities, quality and reliability of carriers.
- Analysis of the transport market and ensuring the supply of carriers according to the needs of the company.
- Assessment of the suitability of potential carriers for cooperation according to the criteria and procedures established in the company.
- Management and updating of carriers' contact, commercial and cooperation data in the systems used in the company.
- Cooperation with the expedition team in resolving issues of carrier search, selection, rates and service quality.
- Providing information and reports on the development of the carrier network, market situation and performance results to the direct manager.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?
- Knowledge of the transport and logistics market and the principles of carrier cooperation.
- Ability to independently search, evaluate and select potential carriers.
- Skills in negotiation, communication and maintaining long-term business relationships.
- Ability to analyze the transport market, prices, carrier offer and service quality.
- Good skills in working with MS Office programs and systems used in the company.
- Good knowledge of Lithuanian and English; knowledge of other languages is considered an advantage.
- Responsibility, initiative, organization and result orientation.
- Higher or higher education in transport, logistics, management, economics or a related field.
