Head of the Internal Audit Department

We are looking for a colleague who:

• would establish an Internal Audit Department in the company, ensuring effective and high-quality planning and management of the department's activities;
• would develop and, as needed, update the internal audit methodology, taking into account international professional standards for internal audit practice;
• ensure that internal audits are performed, internal audit results are presented and progress is monitored;
• ensure the quality of the internal audit performed;
• formulate the company's internal audit policy and monitor its proper application;
• if necessary and appropriate, advise the heads of the company's departments on issues of corporate governance, risk management and internal control.

For this position, we value:

• higher university degree or equivalent in economics, law, business management, finance, accounting or public administration;
• have a qualification certificate of an internal auditor and/or a certificate confirming the qualification of an ISO/IEC 27001 information security management system lead auditor, a certified information systems auditor CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or a certified internal auditor CIA (Certified Internal Auditor);
• at least 3 years of professional work experience in the field of internal or external audit;
• at least 2 years of experience in managing a unit;
• have a qualification certificate of an internal auditor;
• knowledge of the principles of operation of corporate governance, risk management and internal control systems, processes and project management;
• ability to express thoughts fluently and correctly in Lithuanian (written and oral), proficiency in English – B2 level;
• compliance with the requirements established in the Law on the Protection of Objects Important for Ensuring National Security of the Republic of Lithuania;
• strategic thinking, responsibility, initiative, orientation towards results and value creation, professionalism, cooperation, impeccable personal and professional reputation.

Salary:

• 6,300 - 7,800 Eur/month. excluding taxes. The exact salary will depend on your competence and professional experience.
