Your main functions and responsibilities:

  • organize and conduct unscheduled and scheduled internal audits independently and/or with a working group, guided by global internal audit standards (including principles and standards of ethics, professionalism and professional practice), prepare standardized internal audit reports, providing clear and valuable recommendations for process improvement and internal control strengthening, based on reliable data analysis;
  • assess the overall control system, analyze complex information, identify significant risks and provide significant recommendations to ensure systemic changes;
  • analyze and identify potential risks and provide insights on their mitigation;
  • submit proposals for the improvement of the general working methods of the Internal Audit Department and internal legal acts and other documents within the competence of the Internal Audit Department;
  • prepare drafts of internal legal acts regulating internal audit activities;
  • assess whether the company's internal control system is sufficient and effective;
  • organize and monitor the implementation of recommendations by audited entities;
  • prepare activity reports.

We hope you:

  • you have a university degree or equivalent in economics, law, business management, finance, accounting, public administration;
  • you have at least 2 years of work experience in the field of external or internal audit, law, finance, processes or risk management;
  • you have a certificate of completion of the internal auditor qualification training of the Lithuanian Association of Internal Auditors or another similar certificate and/or CIA, CRMA, ACCA or other international internal audit, finance, audit, risk management certificates (an advantage);
  • you are able to assess the control system as a whole;
  • you have the ability to analyze complex information, identify significant risks and provide significant recommendations that ensure systemic changes;
  • you are familiar with the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania necessary to properly perform the functions assigned to this position, as well as global internal audit standards, principles of professional ethics and are able to apply them in practical activities;
  • you speak English at a level not lower than B2 (written and oral);
  • you are responsible, strategic thinking, professional, and result-oriented;
  • you know how to work with a computer, Microsoft Office programs, and use modern communication technologies.
