We are looking for a Chief Specialist who would contribute to the implementation of strategically important public procurements in the National Defence System with his/her expertise. This is an opportunity to work in an institution whose activities directly contribute to strengthening Lithuania's defence capabilities and ensuring national security.
Our client is a state institution under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of National Defence, which performs functions significant to national security, whose activities contribute to strengthening the Lithuanian defence system and ensuring national security. Currently, a Chief Specialist in Public Procurement (civil servant, National Defence System) is invited to join the professional team.

Responsibilities
- Independently organize and coordinate public procurement procedures from planning to completion of the procurement, ensuring their compliance with the requirements of legal acts;
- Prepare and evaluate public procurement documents: procurement conditions, technical specifications, draft contracts and other documentation related to the implementation of procurement;
- Analyze suppliers' proposals, assess their compliance with the established requirements, prepare draft decisions and other procedural documents;
- Consult the organization's employees on public procurement issues, provide methodological assistance and ensure uniform application of procurement procedures;
- Administer public procurement documentation, ensuring transparency of processes and compliance with applicable legal acts;
- Cooperate with specialists in different fields, coordinating solutions necessary for the effective implementation of procurement.
Requirements
- Higher education;
- At least 1 year of work experience in the field of public procurement;
- Public procurement specialist certificate;
- Ability to independently plan and organize work, analyze information and make decisions;
- Communication skills, responsibility, diligence, professional attitude.

Salary, depending on experience and competencies, 2500–3700 EUR (gross) per month, additional bonuses.
