Do you want to contribute to the fight against food waste and help those who need it most?
If so, "Maisto bankas" invites you to join our team in the Vilnius branch's processing kitchen!
Main tasks:
- Prepare creative and delicious meals every day (about 80 portions per day) from products received from the Food Bank, which are saved from destruction;
- Work improvisingly – often prepare meals without pre-prepared recipes, based on your creativity and experience;
- Lead a team of volunteers – communicate, motivate and delegate tasks;
- Contribute to the processing of fruits and vegetables (drying, canning);
- Ensure order and cleanliness in the kitchen.
What we expect from you:
- Experience in the catering industry;
- Ability to creatively adapt various products to different dishes;
- Ability to improvise and quickly solve challenges in the kitchen;
- Excellent communication skills to work with and inspire volunteers;
- Belief in our mission to fight food waste and help those in need.
