Our client, a German company providing catering and retail services to German military personnel, is currently looking for motivated kitchen assistants who are willing to become an important part of the team and contribute to the daily kitchen work.

WORKPLACE:
Rukla military town;
Work in a canteen for German military personnel.
Possible transportation to/from work from Jonava.

NATURE OF WORK:
Assisting the kitchen team in food preparation and general kitchen chores.
Preparing ingredients: washing, cutting and portioning vegetables, meat, fish and other products.
Maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, including cleaning work surfaces, tools and equipment.
Washing dishes, cutlery, pots and pans and neatly stacking clean kitchen utensils.
Removing waste and properly sorting according to established rules.
Assisting in receiving and properly storing delivered goods and ingredients.
Assisting in stock control and regular inventories.
Assisting in preparing side dishes, desserts or simple dishes according to instructions.
Assisting in carrying out kitchen cleaning and hygiene procedures according to established requirements, including cleaning tables in the canteen during work.
Ensuring that all work tools are clean, in proper working order and safe to use.
Cooperating with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth daily work.
Compliance with safety and hygiene rules when working with food and equipment.

WORKING HOURS:
Regular working hours – 40 hours per week (8 hours per day, 5 working days);
Flexible work schedule;
Overtime may be applied if the client needs it;
Overtime is usually compensated by providing additional rest time.
