ISS Lietuva's catering team is expanding and is looking for a Kitchen Manager who will take care of the daily lunch restaurant operations and ensure smooth operation in the kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Organize the daily activities of the catering department and ensure smooth service provision to the client;
- Lead the department team: plan work schedules, distribute tasks, control their implementation, develop and motivate employees;
- Plan and control the menu of dishes according to agreed client needs, seasonality, sales, production capacity and established financial goals;
- Administer and control data in the accounting system: technological cards, recipes, cost prices, menus, prices, goods movement, write-offs, inventories and reports;
- Ensure that the accounting system data corresponds to actual production, sales, warehouse balances and cash transactions; initiate timely correction of discrepancies;
- Organize the cash register work process: control the opening and closing of the cash register, sales registration, settlements, returns, cash documents and daily closing reports;
- Analyze sales data, the most popular and poorly sold dishes, provide suggestions for menu, pricing and sales improvement;
- Plan and order goods needed for food production and department activities, control their reception, use, storage, balances and write-offs;
- Organize periodic inventories, analyze identified deficiencies or surpluses and implement corrective actions;
- Control food costs, food losses, labor costs, turnover, productivity and department profitability; prepare and implement action plans to improve results;
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, HACCP, occupational health and safety and fire safety requirements and completion of necessary documentation;
- Regularly communicate with client representatives, present weekly and monthly performance, quality, sales and financial results;
- Plan event and additional service proposals, prepare estimates according to client needs and coordinate their implementation;
- Actively propose new solutions to improve sales, customer experience, service quality and operational efficiency;
- Prepare established activity reports and provide information to the immediate manager in a timely manner.
What do we expect from you:
- Higher or higher education in food technology, catering, management or a related field. Professional qualification of a chef would be an advantage.
- At least 3 years of work experience in the field of food production.
- Ability to effectively lead a team and adapt to a changing workload.
- English language skills.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office; Syrve, Vikarina - an advantage).
- Communicative and able to represent the company in meetings and communicate with customers.
- Independence, organization and orientation towards the quality of food production and service.
