The Energy and Technology Museum in Vilnius is an institution for the research and popularization of technical heritage, Lithuanian energy and the history of Vilnius.
The museum:
The competition is organized in accordance with the Resolution No. 21 of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania of 2017. June 21. 496 “On the Implementation of the Labour Code of the Republic of Lithuania” approved by the “Description of the Procedure for the Organization and Conduct of Competitions in State and Municipal Enterprises, in State and Municipal Institutions and Public Institutions Financed from the State, Municipal and State Social Insurance Fund Budgets and from Other Funds Established by the State, the Owner or Shareholder of which, Having More Than 1/2 of the Votes at the General Meeting of Shareholders, is the State or a Municipality, and in Municipal Cultural Centres, the Legal Form of which is a Public Institution and the Shareholders of which Are Two or More Municipalities”.
The museum:
- carries out research and educational work;
- organizes expositions, exhibitions, excursions, education, lectures and publications;
- organizes creative leisure and cultural events;
- maintains relations with similar organizations in Lithuania and other countries.

Main responsibilities of the manager
- Strategic development of the museum's activities;
- Organization of museum activities;
- Development of exhibitions and attendance;
- Increasing education and public engagement;
- Search for new partnerships and project development.
Requirements
- Have at least a university degree in engineering, technology, social sciences, business and public management or arts (bachelor's degree);
- have at least 3 years of continuous managerial experience in the field of science, technology, culture or arts (management experience includes experience in managing an organization, its unit or a group of employees, experience in deputizing for persons who manage an organization, unit or employees, and experience in performing functions that require organizing, coordinating and controlling the work of a group of employees);
- have at least 2 years of continuous managerial experience in the field of culture or arts.
- have at least B1 language proficiency in at least one of the three working languages of the European Union (English, French or German).
