We are looking for a senior accountant who would be responsible for organizing and controlling the company's accounting, preparing financial statements and ensuring smooth and efficient accounting processes.
We are looking for a senior accountant who would be responsible for organizing and controlling the company's accounting, preparing financial statements and ensuring smooth and efficient accounting processes.
Main responsibilities:
- Organize and control the company's accounting in accordance with applicable laws;
- Cooperate with the accounting team, coordinate daily accounting processes and ensure smooth and timely execution of tasks;
- Ensure proper accounting of the company's income, receivables and payables, assets, liabilities and cash;
- Ensure proper accounting and control of international transportation operating costs;
- Ensure correct VAT accounting and taxation of international transactions;
- Prepare periodic financial and tax reports, tax declarations and ensure their timely submission to responsible institutions;
- Cooperate with the company's management, auditors and other institutions, provide the necessary financial information.
Our expectations:
- You have a higher education in accounting, finance or economics;
- You have at least 3-5 years of work experience as a senior accountant;
- You are well versed in accounting and tax legislation of the Republic of Lithuania;
- You have experience in preparing annual financial statements and submitting tax returns;
- You are familiar with the principles of VAT application and the specifics of accounting for international transactions.
- You are able to analyze financial data, control settlements and ensure accounting accuracy;
- You are responsible, meticulous, able to plan work and meet deadlines;
- You are able to cooperate, communicate constructively and work in a team;
- Knowledge of English and experience in a transport or logistics company would be an advantage.
