About the company:
Our client is an international engineering project company, carrying out complex engineering construction, repair, production and installation projects throughout Europe. Part of the activity is carried out in different countries, with large teams of employees being seconded, therefore financial accounting is closely related to project activities, employee mobility and international costs.
We are currently looking for a Chief Accountant who will be responsible for ensuring and controlling the financial accounting of the entire group of companies.

What will your responsibilities look like:
- You will manage and control the full accounting of the company in accordance with applicable laws.
- You will form the work of the accounting team, assign tasks, monitor deadlines and ensure smooth implementation of processes.
- You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management.
- You will administer payroll accounting, including business trips, daily allowances and other costs related to employee mobility.
- You will control project costs, subcontractor costs and overall financial flow.
- You will ensure accounting compliance with the legal acts of Lithuania and other countries where projects are implemented.
- You will cooperate with auditors, tax authorities and external partners.
- You will work with project, HR and administration teams to resolve financial issues related to business trips and international employee movement.
- You will contribute to the improvement of financial processes and strengthening of control
You will do great if:
- You have a higher education in finance, accounting or economics.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a chief accountant.
- You are well versed in Lithuanian accounting and tax accounting.
- You have experience in international tax accounting, and you are a skilled expert in the field of business trips and daily allowances.
- Experience in a manufacturing, construction or design company is a great advantage.
- You are able to work with accounting systems and have excellent command of Excel.
- You are responsible, meticulous and focused on accuracy.
