Our client - Akola group is an investment company that manages one of the largest agricultural and food production groups in the Baltic States. The group operates throughout the food value chain from field to fork.

The company is currently looking for a Chief Accountant who would be interested in implementing innovations in financial management and continuous process improvement.

You will manage accounting and review and control the records of primary accounting documents;
You will prepare and submit financial and tax reports, declarations to state institutions;
You will perform closing and planning work for the accounting period;
You will manage banking operations;
You will process incoming and outgoing invoices, assigning them to the appropriate cost centers and departments;
You will calculate wages;
You will improve and automate accounting and financial processes;
You will provide information to the Group's finance and audit team;
You will participate in the implementation of a new accounting program and data management system;
You will perform other tasks related to direct functions (e.g. assistance in preparing the company's budget and comparing actual and budget data, assistance in preparing standard contracts).

You have a higher education in accounting;
You have at least 3 years of work experience in accounting;
You are well versed in VAS accounting standards (IFRS knowledge is an advantage);
You understand VAT calculation in the case of mixed activities;
You are accurate, responsible, proactive and open to innovation;
Experience with MS Dynamics Axapta and Bonus is an advantage.
