📍 About the position
- Full organization of accounting of group companies, coordination and control of processes
- Ensuring accounting according to cost centers, control of income and expense distribution
- Planning, organization and execution of payments
- Accounting and control of transactions between group companies
- Organization and control of payroll accounting
- Preparation of financial statements
- Preparation and submission of tax returns and other mandatory reports to state institutions
- Cooperation with the State Tax Inspectorate, Social Insurance Institution and other institutions
- Representation of companies during audits
- Improvement of accounting processes, implementation and supervision of internal control procedures
- Monitoring changes in the areas of accounting and taxation and ensuring their implementation
- Performing other tasks related to the duties of the chief accountant
💡What do we expect from the candidate?
- You have at least 3 years of work experience as a manager. in the position of accountant (work experience in the real estate and (or) construction sector is an advantage)
- You have experience in managing the accounting of several companies or a group of companies
- You are well versed in the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating accounting, taxes and financial reporting
- You are able to independently prepare financial statements and tax returns
- You have experience in payroll administration
- You are able to analyze financial data, work with large amounts of information and make informed decisions
- You are responsible, meticulous, organized and result-oriented
- You are characterized by analytical thinking, quick orientation and the ability to effectively plan your work
- You have excellent communication, cooperation and teamwork skills
- You have good MS Excel skills and excellent computer literacy
- You have a university or higher education in finance, accounting, economics or related field
Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Vecticum would be considered an advantage.
