Sallaum Logistics is currently looking for a Senior Accountant who will become a member of the strategic finance team, contribute to the optimization of processes and systems and ensure accurate financial accounting.

What will your responsibilities look like:
- Ensure accurate, transparent and timely financial and tax accounting in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.
- Record expenses related to the control of the truck fleet, fuel and operation.
- Manage tax obligations and VAT refunds, including refunds of VAT and fuel excise duties paid in foreign countries, using external agents.
- Ensure orderly accounting in accordance with VAS and international accounting standards.
- Cooperate with external auditors.
- Optimize financial processes.
- Monitor financial indicators, timely inform about deviations and provide insights to management.
You will do great if:
- You have a higher education in finance, accounting or economics.
- You have at least 2 years of experience as a chief accountant (experience in a transport / logistics company is a great advantage).
- You have experience working with auditors.
- You are familiar with the tax laws of the Republic of Lithuania and IFRS / IFAS standards.
- You have excellent time planning and are able to work according to deadlines.
- You have experience working with the NetSuite accounting system is a great advantage.
- You are able to communicate in English
