Nature of work
- Organization, supervision and control of the company's accounting.
- Calculation of wages for about 150 employees, applying the hourly wage system.
- Verification of timesheets, calculation of overtime, vacation, sick pay and other benefits.
- Preparation of employment contracts, administration of amendments and processing of documents related to employment relations.
- Preparation and submission of notifications, declarations and reports to "Sodra" and other institutions.
- Calculation and declaration of taxes related to wages.
- Cooperation with an accounting firm hired in Germany, reconciliation of accounting data and submission of necessary documents.
- Coordination of accounting data for projects implemented in Lithuania and Germany.
- Optimization of accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal acts.
- Management consulting on accounting, tax and payroll issues.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of practical accounting experience.
- Solid knowledge of payroll accounting, taxes and Lithuanian labor law.
- Ability to independently organize and control accounting processes.
- Experience in administering employment contracts, working time accounting and "Sodra" declarations.
- English or German language skills - A MUST in order to be able to independently communicate with German accounting partners.
- Ability to work with a large number of employees and different working schedules.
- Analytical thinking, diligence, independence and responsibility.
Your advantages

- Knowledge of international accounting and the German tax environment.
- Experience in the position of chief accountant.
