Nature of work
- Comprehensive organization and control of the company's accounting.
- Payroll accounting, calculation of allowances, preparation of related documents.
- Excise tax declaration, refund through the VAT system.
- Intrastat submission
- Company budget (income and expenses) planning, cash flow management (Cash Flow).
- Organization and coordination of the work of the accounting team.
- Tax accounting management: preparation and submission of VAT, GPM, corporate tax, i.SAF, AIS, etc. declarations.
- Preparation of financial, tax and statistical reports for state institutions and management.
- Participation in annual audits, cooperation with auditors.
- Analysis of financial data and provision of recommendations to management.
- Control of daily accounting operations (banks, payments, documents, reconciliations).
- Control of debts with suppliers and customers (debt/credit processes).
- Process improvement, automation and offering new solutions to improve financial activities.
- Cooperation with banks, partners and other company departments.
Employee requirements
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a chief accountant or similar position.
- Experience in wholesale trade – both in EU and non-EU markets (import/export).
- Knowledge of the Lithuanian tax system and legislation.
- Work experience with RIVILE.
- Very good Excel skills (formulas, pivot, data analysis).
- Russian language – a must.
- Polish language – an advantage.
- Analytical thinking, responsibility, independence and ability to make decisions.
- Ability to manage several processes simultaneously and meet deadlines.
