Nature of work:
We are looking for a Deputy Chief Accountant to join our finance team, assist the Chief Accountant in ensuring the smooth execution of accounting processes and be responsible for overseeing the accounting of the Finnish branch.
- Assisting the Chief Accountant in organizing and executing daily accounting processes;
- Accounting of the Finnish branch, cooperation with external partners in Finland;
- Checking, controlling and analyzing accounting data;
- Participating in monthly and annual closing processes;
- Preparing financial and tax reports and submitting data;
- Controlling primary accounting documents and accounting operations;
- Assisting in ensuring compliance of accounting processes with the company's internal procedures and applicable laws;
- Cooperation with auditors, tax consultants and other external partners;
- Replacing the Chief Accountant according to competence.
What do we expect from you:
- Higher education in finance, accounting, economics or similar field;
- At least 3 years of work experience in the field of accounting/finance;
- Good accounting and tax basics;
- Ability to independently organize work, analyze information and take responsibility for the supervised area;
- Diligence, responsibility and attention to detail;
- Good oral and written English - it will be needed in daily work supervising the accounting of the Finnish branch;
- Good skills in working with MS Excel.
