Nature of work
- Organization, management and control of the credit union's accounting, preparation of financial statements.
- Tax calculation, preparation and submission of declarations and tax reports.
- Preparation and submission of financial, statistical and supervisory reports to the Bank of Lithuania, LCKU and other institutions.
- Analysis of the credit union's financial indicators, control of budget execution and submission of proposals to improve the efficiency of operations.
- Improvement of accounting processes and ensuring internal control.
- Ensuring compliance with legal acts regulating accounting, taxes and credit union activities.
- Consulting employees on accounting and financial issues.
Requirements
- Higher education in the fields of finance, accounting, banking or economics
- At least 3 years of work experience as an accountant or/and chief accountant
- Knowledge of the financial reporting standards of the Republic of Latvia
- Knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Latvia regulating accounting and taxes and interest in their innovations
- Responsibility, independence, diligence, initiative
- Work experience in a financial institution or audit, accounting company (advantage)
