We are looking for a chief accountant who would ensure financial discipline in the company, provide timely quality reports and contribute to the improvement of the company's and the group's accounting policy. You will lead a team of 4 accounting specialists and be responsible for the entire accounting of the Lithuanian group of companies.

OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION:
- You will organize and control the company's accounting, develop and implement accounting policies
- You will prepare and timely submit monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and all necessary tax returns (VAT, GPM, corporate income tax, etc.)
- You will lead a team of 4 accounting specialists, assign tasks, consult employees on complex accounting issues
- You will supervise the pricing of related party transactions and help ensure compliance with regulations in the group's companies
- You will cooperate with auditors, STI, Sodra, banks and other institutions, provide necessary information and documents
- You will consult management on accounting, tax and financial management issues
- You will initiate and implement projects for automation and digitalization of accounting processes
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 5 years of experience as a senior accountant or similar position, experience in a retail company is an advantage
- Team management experience and ability to organize and plan the work of the accounting department
- Excellent knowledge of Lithuanian financial accounting standards and tax system, familiarity with international standards would be an advantage
- Good technological literacy, ability to work effectively with accounting systems and apply them in daily processes; knowledge of "Pragma 4.0" is an advantage
- Higher university education in finance, accounting or a related field
- You are fluent in Lithuanian and English, knowledge of Russian would be a great advantage
- Strong organizational skills, ability to make decisions and take responsibility, proactive approach
