Nature of work
- Organization and control of the company's accounting;
- Full assurance of the accounting process in accordance with applicable laws;
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements;
- Preparation and control of VAT, corporate income tax and other tax returns;
- Control of settlements with buyers and suppliers, debts and payments;
- Supervision of banking operations, fixed assets, inventories and other accounting areas;
- Control of payroll accounting;
- Control and analysis of production costs and other key financial indicators;
- Provision of financial information and reports to the company's manager;
- Cooperation with the State Tax Inspectorate, "Sodra", auditors, banks and other institutions;
- Control of accounting documents and processes, their improvement;
- Coordination and control of the work of accounting staff;
- Identification of tax and financial risks and timely provision of information to management.
We are looking for not only an accounting specialist, but also someone who is able to independently manage the entire accounting process of the company, see the overall financial picture and actively contribute to process improvement.
Employee requirements
- Higher education in finance, accounting, economics or similar field;
- At least 3-5 years of work experience in the field of accounting;
- Experience in a senior accountant, financier or similar responsible position is a great advantage;
- Excellent knowledge of the legal acts of the Republic of Lithuania regulating accounting and taxes;
- Ability to independently organize and control the entire accounting process of the company;
- Experience in preparing financial statements, declarations and closing monthly and annual accounting;
- Good analytical skills, ability to evaluate financial indicators, cost and profitability;
- Good skills in working with Excel;
- Experience in working with accounting / ERP systems;
- Responsibility, diligence, independence and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to notice errors, risks and problems and propose solutions;
- Ability to coordinate the work of other accounting employees;
- Good communication and collaboration skills;
- Knowledge of English is an advantage.
